Work in progress stage 2 (subsection 3) is complete.
Did two showings at the Drill Hall last week and got some lovely and thought-provoking feedback. Everyone at the venue was as usual, a total delight. I worked with sublimely generous Adrian Howells, who was a total champ and the brick that is Alice Booth, who is co-performing the show with me.
Have felt a bit spent since and become a little fixated on nuclear reactors, natural disasters and Wonders of the Universe. I have a few things I want to start writing about, but I think that should wait for a bit, till I finish this current one. However, I have been thinking about experiencing disaster, media coverage and questions of scale. All for rather obvious and sobering reasons. I have also been thinking a childhood caravan holidays and super volcanoes. Watch this space.
I am tres excited to finish Photographic Memory and hopefully get to do it more than twice, so good or bad, it doesn’t feel like a fluke.
